Anne Pigone, born in Dublin in 1982, is one of Ireland's most promising young authors. She studied modern languages at University College, Dublin, and holds a masters in Irish Literature. Ms Pigone has had plays, articles, stories and poems published in most leading Irish periodicals. She has been granted many awards for her work, including the Gerty MacDowell Prize, in 2001, for “Best Young Female Irish Writer”. She is currently living with her family in Denver Colorado.
